I have been traveling for three weeks. Upon my return at the end of this past week, I found that my young chicks had grown up. They were in their outdoor pen. They had learned to go to bed at night and now looked like full-grown chickens. While it doesn't equate to the joy of a parent as his son/daughter goes off to college, there is a little pride in watching my winged children move towards adulthood.
