Bread vs. Snow

Who knew that ordering lunch at work could be both beneficial and troublesome for our chickens? One day this week my husband ordered pizza for his team of employees.  Interestingly, in addition to the pizza, the restaurant sent a half-dozen dinner rolls.  Even though it was a nice thought, no one was tempted to eat the bread.  Having 15 chickens who love carb-based snacks, my husband brought the rolls home. Immortal Jellyfish

jelly So there I was, surfing around National Geographic's news when I saw the title,  "'Immortal' Jellyfish  Swarm World's Oceans." Yes, this jellyfish, formally known as the Turritopsis dohrnii, has the ability to transform from being an adult to being a baby over and over again. This jellyfish was discovered in the Mediterranean Sea in 1883, but it seems to be "taking" over the world's oceans--swarm by swarm. This jellyfish is only about the size of a human pinky nail.
