Spring Is Here

Winter is leaving the Kuegler mini-farm slowly.  There is no snow left in our yard, or falling from the sky for that matter, which is of great relief to the chickens.  Though the temperatures are still cool (with highs in the 50s), the girls seem to be much happier with the weather. Lessons Learned from a Trip to the Vet

  1. Taking a cat to the vet just gets harder every time you do it. The more a cat goes, the more she remembers and the more she resists.
  2. Driving to the animal hospital takes about five minutes. Getting the cat ready for the drive can take up to forty.
  3. Rearranging your entire daily schedule to lavish attention on the cat will not make her suspicious at first. She’ll just think you’re finally getting your priorities straight. Until she sees the cat carrier.
