Since they seem to love the worms so much, perhaps you could start a compost/worm farm. I hear it’s easy and it kills two birds (so to speak) with one stone.

Nearly all table scraps can be tossed in (worms ain’t fussy). The chickens will love them and when the worms are done, you’ll have some great compost to help keep your flowers and garden blooming.

As for our escape artist, she is quite content to stay in her outdoor pen. Plus, TK has not been allowed to take them on any field trips, so they’re safety has not been at risk.

Of course, you can always go order another couple dozen now that the first set of girls is growing up, so that you can relive their childhood.
