A few days ago I had the pleasurable opportunity to walk down all of Newbury Street in Boston, MA, to Boston Common. It was a beautiful fall day–with the sun shining, slight breeze, and freshly cut green grass, Boston Common was so picturesque. There were small vendors with their pretzels, slushies, and t-shirts. There were couples walking around hand in hand, and groups of friends playing Frisbee. Families were having picnics, and businessmen and women were taking their daily strolls on their lunch breaks.
But best of all, were the dog walkers. My group of friends spent a good amount of time looking at the
various dogs in the park. There were terriers, labs, huskies, dobermans, dalmatians, and more. Every dog we saw was friendly towards other dogs, and they all looked so happy. However, our favorite sites to see were the dog walkers.
When I write dog walkers, I mean the people with four or five dogs on their hands. This is their job. With all sorts of breeds to take care of, these melanges of dogs were so much fun to look at. When we talked to those people, they were so happy with their jobs. They loved walking the dogs, playing with the dogs, and more.
Walking dogs is a great side job to have. Depending on where you live, you can make a lot of money doing this. For instance, city residents usually pay about $30 per walk. Sometimes the pay can depend on the size of a dog; one of the dog walkers was getting paid $100 for a great dane he was walking.
Dog walking is a great side job to pick up, I’d highly recommend it.

Mom is very jealous! She’s from the Boston area and this is her very favorite season and the absolute best time to be in Boston!
