I am a pet sitter part time, as I am disabled and from a
serious spinal injury many years ago.. I have found over the years of "pet sitting " work Ive done as well as all the years of breeding Yorkshire Terriers, that if you need to give "any" animal a liquid or pill form medication, it becomes extreemly easy if you can go to a local pharmacy and pick up an medium sized syringe, cut off the needle area.. and just use the plunger part of the syringe.. you can pull up the liquid medication with the plunger, or stick a bit of soft cheese in it and push a pill into the cheese.. then, you simply put the plunger inside the pets mouth, and very quickly plunge.. the animal will almost every time.. get the medication without a lot of fight, or delay... I have "never yet" had a problem with this insertion method.. and the animals seem to "not mind" it so much.. it definatly beats going through any delema over trying to push a pill or liquid into a cat or dogs mouth.. and we All know, most pets love cheese or penutbutter... give it a try.. I know.. it has always worked for me..
have a great day..
